Ethos
Bohème Éclat was the initial name and philosophical beginning of this Substack. It combines two evocative French terms. “Bohème” refers to an artistic lifestyle that exists outside conventional norms—a bohemian who lives creatively and unconventionally. Éclat” means brilliance, sparkle, flair, or a dazzling display—something done with style and distinction. Together, it’s about a life that is free-spirited and radiant: a celebration of unconventional beauty, creative freedom, and luminous presence.
Bohème Éclat is a philosophy, and an invitation to live artfully and well, with a kind of graceful boldness—where artistic freedom meets elegance. All of my novels are colored by this spirit: celebrating intelligence, curiosity, and embracing the beauty in contradiction.
